As an artist, I am particularly concerned with adding content to the world that enhances our understanding of ourselves.  My work seeks to address memory, emotional distress and the desire for better.  Through the art of storytelling, I write about the “ordinary” in ways that entertain while allowing the reader to re-contextualize what "ordinary" really means.  Currently, I am finishing up a collection of short stories entitled The Hardest Thing is to Know.  It is an assortment of stories about characters living on, or descendent from Barbados.  Each story includes a courageous narrative and characters that struggle with self concept in various ways.
